金型加工
Mold processing
メタルフレームのクオリティの良し悪しを決めるプレス⽤⾦型も⾃社内で製造し、最⾼の品質を管理します。
We also make our own press metal molds, which determine the quality of our metal frames, in order to ensure the highest quality.
ひとつひとつの部品は数回に分けて丁寧にプレスし、デザインのイメージに沿ったパーツを作り上げていきます。細部にわたる彫⾦模様なども、精度の⾼い⾦型を作ることができてこそ完成させることができます。
Each part is carefully pressed several times to create parts that match the design image. Detailed carved metal patterns can only be completed with a highly accurate metal mold.
品質管理
Quality Management
精密画像寸法測定器により、溶接による組み立てを行う前のそれぞれの部品を確認し、均整の取れたプロダクトに仕上げていきます。
A precision image measuring device is used to check each part before it is welded together to create a well-proportioned product.
量産前には試験用フレームによる破壊テスト、テンプル開閉テストなど様々な耐久テストを行い、「日本製が高品質である」という本当の裏付けとなる工程に力を注ぎます。
Before mass production, we conduct various durability tests, such as destructive tests using test frames and temple opening/closing tests, and focus our efforts on the processes that give authenticity to the “Made in Japan high quality” reputation.

それぞれの素材には、それぞれの特性があり、上手く組み合わさった時に眼鏡の性能を最大限に引き出すことが可能です。
Based on our many years of experience, we select materials that make the most of the design and functionality of the frames.
Each material has its own properties. When they are well combined, they can maximize the performance of the glasses.
ゴムメタル
Gummetal
主にテンプル部分に使う素材「GUMMETAL」は、名前の通りゴムのようなしなやかさを持つ不思議な金属。
眼鏡をかけることによる頭部の締め付けを軽減させ、包み込むような装用感を実現します。
その反面、加工が著しく難しく、日本でもクリエイトスリーを含めた４社でしか生産できません。
Gummetal, the material mainly used for the temples, is a mysterious metal with rubber-like flexibility as the name suggests.
It reduces the pressure applied to the sides of the head from wearing eyeglasses, giving the wearer a comfortable snug fit.
Conversely, gummetal is extremely difficult to process, and only four companies, including Create3, can make eyeglasses using this material in Japan.

フレームに使われるネジ一本にも妥協を許さず、ユーザーが毎日使用しても安心できる部品を選定しています。
ネジの緩みなどが発生する場合は、ネジ部分に樹脂加工を施し、摩擦係数をあげた別注ネジをオーダーすることも。
We do not compromise on any single screw used in our frames, and select parts that users can trust for everyday use.
If a screw loosens, we can order a custom-made screw with a higher coefficient of friction by applying resin treatment to the screw part.

DIGNA Classic 931
ボストンシェイプが映える４mm厚のチタンパーツをプレス加工で抜いたリムパーツは、強力な個性を放ちます。３ピースと言われるブリッジ、ヨロイがネジ固定されたデザインは、設計が高精度であるからこそなし得るデザインです。
The rim parts are made of pressed 4-mm thick titanium parts that accentuate the Panto shape, infusing dramatic individuality. The design featuring a three-piece bridge and hinges fixed with screws can only be achieved with high-precision craftsmanship.

DIGNA Classic 944
“Ted’s Special” 主宰、前島氏と共同開発されたDIGNA Classic初となるコラボレーションモデル。「Motorcycle Glasses」と名付けられた個性的な２モデルは、ヘルメットを被ったままでも着用しやすいストレートなモダンと、ビンテージフレームでよく見られる風の巻き込みを和らげるレンズサイドに付けられている“フード”をモチーフとしながらチタンで再現。バイク乗りに向けてデザインされています。
MADE IN JAPANでなければ成し得ないそのハイグレードな作りは、自社工場の技術が惜しまず投入された渾身の完成度を誇り、本物を知る大人に相応しいオーセンティックなアイウェアです。
DIGNA Classic’s first collab models developed jointly with Maejima, head of Ted’s Special. Named “Motorcycle Glasses,” the two distinctive models have straight, modern frames, making them easy to put on while wearing a helmet. Designed for motorcyclists, the models feature a titanium reproduction of a hood on the sides of the lens for wind reduction, often seen in vintage frames.
The high-quality craftsmanship unique to Made in Japan exhibits immaculate perfection, achieved with the uncompromising expertise and skills of our factory. It is authentic eyewear suitable for sophisticated adults who know what genuine is.

鯖江光器 SKM-01
カールトンと言われるブローバータイプのナイロール。ボリュームのあるチタン一体成型で質感高く仕上げました。リムはブリッジ付近で１点ロー付けされており、メガネの掛け外しなどでレンズにテンションが掛かりにくい設計となっています。
Semi-rimless frames with a brow bar. It is made of thick, integrally molded titanium for a high-quality finish. The rim is brazed at one point near the bridge, minimizing pressure on the lens when the glasses are put on and off.
